Logistics Pilot
Terminus M1 Transport decisioning
Part of Synlogica Terminus
Terminus M1 scores freight tenders on landed cost rather than headline rate, and makes spot exposure and the leakage between the tender you awarded and the invoices you actually pay visible while the round is still open.
The problem
Transport decisioning
A tender is awarded on the rate card and paid on the invoice, and the two drift apart month by month: spot moves, surcharges, lanes that were never in the annex. By the time finance sees the gap it is a budget variance, not a decision anyone can still take.
What it does
- 01 Measures tender leakage across SKU × lane × month, so the difference between what was awarded and what is paid has a location and a cause.
- 02 Scores lanes and carriers by tail risk, not the mean — the 80th-percentile worst case is what the budget has to survive.
- 03 Puts spot exposure on the table during the round, with the rules and model versions behind every score recorded for review.
Who it is for
Transport procurement and logistics leads in pharmaceutical supply chains who run annual or quarterly tenders and answer for the freight budget afterwards. In pilot with early users.
Where it stands
Pilot Pilot — in use with early customers. Scope, data and success criteria are agreed per pilot, and we say what is production and what is prototype before you ask.
Key capabilities
Terminus M1
- 01
Orders board and carrier recommendations
Transport orders on a kanban or table with mode, priority and planner filters; carrier recommendations from five ML models with a risk class on each.
- 02
Tenders and RFQ
Tender rounds with requirements, public carrier-offer links secured per invitation, tender recommendations and historical decisions.
- 03
Rate cards, contracts and fuel surcharges
Carrier contracts with lanes, tiers and surcharges; fuel-surcharge history per carrier against fuel-price indices.
- 04
Route planner with corridor risk
Spot-versus-tender decision per route with risk analysis, corridor map, alerts, permits, fuel, social signal, CO₂ and multi-stop planning.
- 05
Geopolitical risk and tracking
Route risk monitor on GRIP scores, conflict and sanctions data; shipment tracking, inbound ASN and warehouse pallets under one audit trail.
Three decisions, one engine
Where regulated teams lose time and money
Three decision domains, each a Terminus module sharing one governed decision framework — so rules, versioning and the audit trail behave identically whether the question is a temperature excursion, a freight tender or a supplier price.
Quality
Temperature excursions assessed with Arrhenius + Monte-Carlo against the product's stability model — a recommendation with stated uncertainty, not a reviewer's guess.

Tender leakage measured across SKU × lane × month, lanes scored by tail-risk — so spot-freight inflation is caught before invoices reconcile.

MESO playbooks for API procurement — simultaneous-equivalent offers framed against a qualified BATNA when supplier qualification is the binding constraint.
See Terminus M5 →Terminus M4 is being validated under Synlogica's Integrated Management System (IMS) — ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 27001 (information security) and ISO 42001 (AI management) — on top of its GAMP 5 Category 4 lifecycle.
IMS certification target Q4 2026The same foundation as every Synlogica application
Every application in the portfolio carries the same controls, so an inspector who has seen one knows how to read the next.
- Versioned records — a record can be superseded, never silently altered.
- Electronic signature on every controlled step.
- An audit trail an inspector can follow, hash-chained end to end.
- Runs on your own tenant, hosted in the EU.
