Privacy Policy
This notice explains what personal data Synlogica collects through this website (synlogica.ai), why we collect it, the legal basis for processing, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who we are (Data Controller)
Synlogica is the data controller for personal data processed via this website. For any privacy matter, contact info@synlogica.ai.
2. What we collect
- Contact data — if you email us (e.g. the "Book a call" link) we receive your name, email address, company affiliation (if provided), and the content and timestamps of your message.
- Usage analytics — aggregated, anonymous page-view statistics via Plausible Analytics. Plausible is cookieless, EU-hosted, and processes no personal data and no cross-site identifiers.
- Local preferences — your theme (light/dark) and privacy-notice acknowledgement are stored in your browser's
localStorageon your device only; they are never sent to us.
We do not set advertising or marketing cookies, we do not use third-party trackers, and we do not embed third-party booking or social widgets that profile you.
3. Why we process it & legal basis
4. Hosting & processors
This website is served from EU infrastructure. We rely on a small number of vetted processors under GDPR-compliant data-processing terms:
- Plausible Analytics — EU-hosted, cookieless web analytics.
- EU cloud / hosting providers (e.g. AWS EU regions, Hetzner) — site delivery and email.
We do not sell personal data and do not transfer it outside the EU/EEA for the operation of this website. Where any transfer is unavoidable, it is covered by adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. Retention
Email correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle your request and to meet legal or legitimate-interest obligations, then deleted. Cookieless analytics are aggregate and contain no personal data.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and to object. You can exercise any of these — see our dedicated Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) page, or email info@synlogica.ai. We respond within one calendar month (Art. 12(3)).
7. Complaints
If you are not satisfied with our response you may lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. In Poland this is the UODO (uodo.gov.pl); EU residents may contact their local DPA.
8. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as the service evolves. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
